Nanded violence: 5 arrested, 25 booked in connection with stone-pelting incidents; peace restored

Nearly 25 people have so far been booked in Nanded, in connection with the stone-pelting incident in Maharashtra on Friday. The cases have been registered under Nanded’s Shivaji Nagar police station limits. According to the details, the police have arrested five people, while a search for the other accused continues. The stone-pelting incidents were reported from Nanded, Malegaon and Amaravati in the backdrop of protests against the violence that took place in Tripura.
