SKM calls for nationwide protests today as farmers’ stir completes 11 months

The Samyukt Kisan Morcha (SKM) has put out a call for nationwide protests as the farmers’ movement has completed 11 months now. According to the details, the protests are planned at tehsil and district headquarters from 11 am to 2 pm on Tuesday. In an official statement, the SKM has said this is mainly to demand the arrest and dismissal of Union Minister of State for Home Affairs Ajay Mishra Teni in connection with the Lakhimpur Kheri incident.
