BJP’s Rajib Banerjee returns to TMC, says can’t accept politics of hatred

Shortly after leaving the Trinamool Congress for BJP, West Bengal leader Rajib Banerjee on Sunday rejoined TMC in Tripura, in the presence of national General secretary Abhishek Banerjee, who is holding a rally in Agartala. Banerjee, a former minister in the Mamata Banerjee government, said he “repents” for joining the BJP ahead of the assembly elections despite being asked by the West Bengal chief minister not to leave TMC.
